Alex

Alex founded Savvy Accounting to bridge the gap between everyday accounting and strategic financial direction for growing businesses. With over seven years in senior finance leadership at EDF Energy, she brings deep expertise in financial control, transformation, and change management. Alex’s passion lies in helping ambitious scale-ups gain CFO-level insight without the full-time cost, combining commercial acumen with a personable, hands-on approach.

PRACTICE MANAGER

Abigail

Abigail is our dedicated Practice Manager who joined Savvy Accounting in 2023. With over a decade of experience in finance — including eight years specialising in property accounting — she brings a wealth of knowledge and a meticulous, solutions-focused approach to our team.

Her background in client relations and finance system management means she’s passionate about efficiency, accuracy, and providing outstanding service. Abigail oversees the daily operations of the practice, ensuring everything runs seamlessly, and is always on hand to support both clients and colleagues with professionalism and care.

CLIENT MANAGER

Hasan

Hasan is our experienced Client Manager with over eight years in the finance industry and is a qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAEW). He manages a diverse portfolio of clients, from sole traders to established businesses, providing tailored accounting and tax solutions. Known for his approachable nature and commitment to client success, Hasan also leads our bookkeeping team, ensuring every client receives the highest standard of support and service.

PAYROLL MANAGER

Nicola

With over 25 years of accounting and payroll experience, Nicola supports SMEs across a wide range of sectors with precision and care. Her background in mathematics and statistics underpins her reputation for accuracy, reliability, and calm efficiency. Proficient in all major accounting platforms, she thrives on bringing structure to growing businesses. Outside of work, Nicola is a qualified hypnotherapist and mediator who enjoys walking her German Shepherds around the North East.

SENIOR BOOKKEEPER

Ranganath

With over 10 years of experience in accounting and finance, Ranganath brings a sharp eye for detail and a strong commitment to accuracy. He ensures that every report is meaningful, timely, and aligned with clients’ goals. Known for his reliability and calm approach, Ranganath plays a key role in keeping our clients’ finances running smoothly.

Vanleyden

Vanleyden holds a Master’s degree in Financial Management and has nine years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting. Passionate about precision and client care, he works closely with business owners to ensure their financial data is clear, compliant, and insightful. His dedication and proactive approach make him an invaluable part of the Savvy team.

Pravalikka is a detail-oriented bookkeeper who thrives on helping clients stay organised and confident in their finances. With a strong background in management accounts and reconciliations, she ensures every number tells the right story.
